Our Journey at Vijaya Bharathi School

Founded way back in 1990, Vijaya Bharathi School had its humble beginning in a rented building with an initial strength of 15 students.

Its visionary founders, Ms. Vijayalakshmi, the Secretary and Maj. B.V. Sathyanarayana, the President set their goal to serve the society with quality education that never compromises and took pride in nurturing their students towards a holistic development.

With the goodwill and the best wishes of friends and neighbors, the school was built brick by brick and now the infrastructure stands with pride in having well- ventilated classrooms, digital learning and dedicated staff in a congenial atmosphere.

Maj. B.V.Sathyanarayana, who has a rich experience as a Principal of a reputed college in Bangalore has utilized his expertise in gradually developing the school in earning goodwill and trust.

Students here are trained to be future ready and every step of their learning excites them to be competitive and face their lives endeavours.

Dr. Gururaj Karajagi’s contribution to reformations of primary and secondary education has made an impression in the field.

This has been demonstrated by the institution, Academy for Creative Teaching, that he has built, which truly is an expression of the philosophy of Dr. Karajagi, through which he has handheld over 90 schools and trained over 200,000 teachers.

It touches the lives of over one lakh students each day across the world. The training module on creative teaching with an emphasis on Indian culture is unique.

Major B.V. Sathyanarayana, President

Major B.V.Sathyanarayana has acquired his master’s degree in Mathematics and served as the Principal of Vivekananda Junior college for over two decades. He has also served as an officer in the NCC for more than two decades. Known for his values and leadership skills, he always stands for his strong principles and is an exemplary person.
